The Life Net's aim is to put the Arnhem – Nijmegen – Foodvalley area firmly on the map and make it digitally findable for knowledge workers, international students and companies from inside the Netherlands and abroad!
The four initiators are of The Life Net are the Province of Gelderland, The Economic Board, the municipalities of Arnhem and Nijmegen. This web portal contributes to the marketing of our region. The Life Net does not replace city marketing, but is rather a supplement to already existing marketing infrastructure.
The Economic Board is the host of this project. The Economic Board is a Triple Helix collaboration between government authorities, knowledge institutes and the business community. It encourages and connects economic activity to innovations in the key sectors Food, Health and Energy and their crossovers. The Economic Board communicates about the exceptional potential of this region and connect parties. Combining the new with established names will generate more clients. This is known as so-called ‘co-branding’.
